It seems to me that love is doomed from the onset. No matter which way things work out for the two of you, love ends in sadness. So why do we all want it so much? It’s one of the basic needs of human life, isn’t it?
So here’s what I’ve been thinking. Love isn’t about the destination, it’s about the whole ride, the good times you have, the feeling of unity…it’s a lot like life. And if we all have life, we must all have the capability to love.
Love is such a complex topic. You can’t even define it.
That fits life itself, life can only lead to death, its about the things inbetween, you shouldnt look at the destination but at the moments along the way. Peope who live for the future have no moments and those that live for the moment have no future, you need to find balance and not worry about things too much.
I’d say it’s not about living for the future or the present, it’s about living for the moment while still having long-term goals. True, I’m guilty of living for the present, but I still have some idea where I’m going. I have a lot of faults like that; for example, the way I seem to try to make things work when they’re not going to.
